It's all about the dressing...

When we are trying to change a habit, we face some challenges. I used to eat simple salads and loads of veggies since I was a kid. So when I decided I wanted to learn to eat healthily and still love and have a good time eating, it was not really hard, even though I had my own challenges. Do you know that your taste buds change entirely in 3 months? So the most important thing is to have an open mind. If you try new food even if in the first moment you don't love it, believe me, if you keep on track, your taste will change. You will crave fresh food, and the most important your energy will increase so much that it won't take long for you to want good food. But I know we need to give some help to our body at the beginning. That's why I'm here to share with you a few of my favorite salad dressings:

  1. Basil Salad Dressing: 1/2 cup walnuts; 3 tbsp Lime; 1/4 cup olive oil; 1 cup fresh basil; 1 garlic clove; 1/4 tsp salt, 4 tbsp of water. Blend all ingredients, if the dressing is too thick add more water

  2. Coleslaw Dressing: 1/2 vegan mayo; 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar; 1 tbsp dijon mustard; 1 tbsp agave (optional); 1 tsp onion powder; 1 tsp celery seed

  3. 1 Lemon, 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard, 1 tsp honey or agave, black pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients and adjust the quantities to your taste.

  4. Look for the caesar dressing on the previous post.
